To some, they are just junk, a plain ole rock.
To me, it is my special treasure that has a special secret.
A secret of vibration, history, optimism, wisdom, ideas and emotions.
But what I have learned, is that the secret is not just for me. It is to share with everyone who is willing to listen, learn and pass it on.
Pass on the knowledge and share the stones.
These minerals are various geodes, quartz and chalcedony.
The natural blue ( copper elements that mixes in while forming or maybe chromium make it blue ) chalcedony glistens underneath the druzy quartz. Some specimens exhibit botryoidal formation. ( It kinda reminds us of fish eggs )

Chalcedony helps with activating the throat chakra. It is a great stone for dreaming - Dreams of harmony, balance- understanding your dreams... communicating them.... thinking about them.... creating them. The stone is also great for "coolin" down. To keep your temper or emotions from over reacting. To help stop you from saying too much at those inoppurtune times.
Its almost like chalcedony takes on a nurturing - "mothering" nature to anyone who is open to it.
I think I need to get a bit of this chalcedony for my family. We tend to have very strong emotional responses in my house having two Pices, a Virgo and a Gemini. The coolin' down proporty would help us a lot I think:)Plus I am quite fond of dreaming:)

ReplyDeleteI think that would be a fantastic stone! To help with harmony in the home :) But dang, that's a lot of different emotions, Pisces, Virgo and Gemini!
When you get the stone, clear it and set your intention. Then place it in the center of your home, or the gathering place. After a cycle has been completed, or even periodically, cleanse the stone and re set the intention to your desire.
